- Commonly used in Muay thaï and K1 , this technique fits perfectly for MMA , especially against grapplers if you can time it to counter the takedown like @gamebred , to do so you ll have to follow this steps:

- First take a big step to get into the right range , this will also help you with your balance and you ll jump higher.
- Use the momentum to jump with the right knee and swing your right arm to the back .
- Switch the knee mid air , bring back the right knee to the floor and use that motion for the left knee (you can aim either the body or the head)
- Follow up with a right cross or elbow depending on your range following the knee .
