This is a standard McDermott loss. All the bad losses are his inability to manage the game.

Josh Allen is proof that even in today's NFL the QB cannot do everything. He's surrounded by incompetence.

Finally someone on mainstream media talks about the elephant in the room.

McDermott’a decision to allow Josh Allen to play concussed (insane that was not mentioned) and play calling at the end cost the bills this game, he should be fired.

Josh played poorly, but, woof, his offensive line and wide receivers did him absolutely no favors the entire game. The Bills easily have the worst WR room in the league and I don't think it's particularly close

Allen has been off the last 2 games, also are we sure the Bills didn’t violate any of the concussion protocols? Allen took a huge hit and he was in and out of the blue tent.

Brian Daboll should be the HC in Buffalo, his relationship with Allen was up there with Reid Mahomes. Daboll's last 2 games in Buffalo, the perfect game against New England 7 possessions 7 TD's then the 13 second game. Now if you're an astute owner and paying attention you have to ask yourself if you want to lose Daboll. After all it was the defense that cost Buffalo the game, Allen was on the bench. But Buffalo has Pegula who lets his GM call those shots. Funny McDermott brought in Beane. I'll give a little push back about Allen, the Texans did what the Ravens did 1 high safety taking away the middle of the field forcing throws to the outside receivers, none of which on Buffalo can separate so Allen is throwing into tight windows every time.

Are you kidding me. Josh is not the problem. The problem is he has the worst receiver room in the league. They need a coach and GM that’s offensive minded. They focus on defense far too much. Give your QB some weapons

When he blew 13 seconds, I undersood what was happening. Diggs and Allen have a good relationship. It's Sean as to why they traded him. Diggs said, "Don't listen to him. Audible out of the play call." The Dunne article exposed a lot of why Buffalo struggles.

I think here's a stat worth a coach QB combo don't win a Superbowl in their 1st 5 years together they never is year 7 for Josh and McDermott...

As a bills fan, the 13 seconds thing is it.

Allen is FAR from perfect but to know in the back of your head that even if he plays amazing and puts us in a unloseable situation, we still got Oseana Bin McDermott to blow it all up (pun intended).

I'm no NFL coach or OC, but if I dialed up three straight QB draws for Josh, I bet he can give you ten yards. 🏈

Preach. McDermott is destroying the Josh Allen era. The hell with Sean…this is the fam’s team. We waited 30 years for this kid. Fire. Sean. McDermott.

I agree. And as a Bills fan it was like watching the coach squander an excellent comeback and rally by his players. I don’t trust MCDermott against top coaches. That’s not a good feeling.

Ultimately, it only matters what Josh Allen thinks about McDermott. I’m scared Josh will be tired of the coach and organization. Can you imagine how horrible it would be if Allen wanted out of Buffalo?

Two games ago the entire media was praising Allen and McDermott as the best team in the NFL who going to win the SB. Now they lost two games against two great teams and the media says fire McDermott. Keep in mind we do not have a number one receiver. Our "so called" WR1 Shakir is out with an injury. Our defense is riddled with injuries as we play our third stringers. Our running back James Cook is likely to be out. The team is over its cap and having a soft "rebuild". The Bills will finish this season 11-6 and make the post season. The media will change their narrative on McDermott in three days after we win Monday night. I do agree we need to add Davante Adams but have no clue how we could create room in our cap.

Plus McDermott declined the 10 sec run off after intentional grounding lol. Dudes been doing these blunders for yrs. 13 seconds anyone???

Josh was awful but the WR core that was on the field for the Bills was not NFL caliber without their best WR Shakir. You cannot throw the ball there, Allen threw a beautiful deep ball to Mack Hollins that he did not catch cause he’s not an NFL WR. Cannot accept that bad of coaching.

There were 32 seconds left when the bills offense took over
If you run three running plays
Force the Texans to use all their timeouts probably burn up
Five seconds per play
Then the punt uses up around 6-8 seconds
So the Texans would’ve had possession with no timeouts
With around 8-9 seconds left
Left time for a Hail Mary
Instead of having all three timeouts
At their disposal
Still head scratcher for McDermott
🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Said it two years ago -- McDermott is a Point A to Point B coach. It's past time to find the guy who can take this team to Point C as in Championship.
