Pink Floyd’s iconic album ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’, originally released in March 1973, turns 50, and what more fitting a place to celebrate it and experience it than in a Planetarium, through the music set to visuals. With the help of modern technology, the idea of a show combining breath-taking views of the solar system and beyond, played out to 42 minutes of The Dark Side Of The Moon in surround sound, has been embraced by the band. NSC Creative have led the visual production efforts, working closely with Pink Floyd’s long time creative collaborator Aubrey Powell from Hipgnosis.

Combines a love for their superb album, with a love for astronomy and space travel, and equals a sensory and spiritual experience for the ears and eyes.

Just watched at Jodrell Bank, what a spectacular experience that really amplifies what is arguably the best album ever! Being a pink Floyd fan for over 40 years this had to be good to impress me. Amazing, if you get the chance it will be an hour of your life that will enhance it without doubt. Trippy man! 🤯🤪

All I have to say is wow, the accuracy to how a trip looks and feels gave me frisson throughout my body without needing any type of drug. A classic album my grandad introduced me to as a young lad, I had my expectations and was blown away, from the prism in the beginning to the triangular "wormhole " to the prisms orbiting, the ISS, the voyager, (no more spoilers) it all lines up. As Roger Waters calls it a universal coincidence, after watching it at the Adelaide fringe I am still ear to ear grinning, truly speechless except for the words "on point" afterwards still trying to recall if I had indeed tripped without knowing.
Bravo and amazing job, you have inspired me to do music again, and follow this passion of music through Uni to make music a full time job. would definitely go again everyday if I could.

Looks like Pink Floyd got there first with the whole 360° thing, beating U2 by a few months. That show, with the sound system at The Sphere in Las Vegas, would be an audio visual experience to behold

Is anyone from Warrington wanting to go on the 2nd of December with my mum 😅 my dad has had to pull out as he's broken his leg. The only issue, my mum doesn't drive and I want her to experience it. I'm unfortunately too sick to go ATM and am in London.
There's a spare ticket....

✌🏻
