I was 15 years old in 1977...A young white guy in Dallas...and I fell deeply in love with Donna...I had bought all her albums at the time, and had just seen her TV special...I would look at her picture on the record covers and dream of her...I often imagined meeting her after a concert, even getting a kiss from her...yes, I was a silly young teen with a fantasy..as teens many did...but I still loved her to my adult age...when I heard of her death, I sobbed uncontrollably...I still love her...

I remember back in 1979, she was in concert in Tampa and I didn’t want to drive all the way from Orlando. I wish I had. But in 2000, I had the chance to see her in Denver, CO and this time I went. So glad I did as she was spectacular 🎉 Hearing her sing this classic and seeing the video brought tears to my eyes. A true artist who left us far too soon 😢
