How do you check if you need to replace the battery on your iPhone?

Avoid laptops which non user replaceable batteries. Their batteries are harder to replace (if you can find a replacement), and when you do find them, they are always more expensive than batteries for laptops designed to have a user replaceable battery.

The current best li-ion cells will handle around 800-1200 charge cycles, with around 600-700 of them offering a reasonable level of usage as they gradually lose capacity with each charge cycle.

Another good tip: Set flash player to ask before running. Also use noscript for firefox, and run an ad blocker. The browser will use like 1/5th the RAM, and the CPU will not clock as high during a page load (less inefficient crap to load), and the CPU goes back to idle faster.

With pretty heavy browsing (during a long trip), I am able to typically get an extra 1-1.5 hours out of the laptop without changing any other behavior, In addition to that, I have 3 extra batteries (they were $12 each :) ).

i did it for windows 10 (tip: when you do the thing for windows 10 don't go into the users folder goto you C: drive then your Windows System Folder the you System32 Folder and scroll down until you find a HTML. file that says battery-report.html don't open it in google chrome open it in microsoft Edge now when i did it for my cycle count it was just a hyphen it looked like this (Cycle Count - ) that's how i looked does that mean my battery went through all of its cycles?

Here's how to do the battery report in Windows:
Open up command prompt (non-admin preferred)
Type powercfg energy, hit enter
Report will generate
Navigate to the folder the energy-report.html file is in as shown in "See FILEPATH for more details"
Open the html file with a web browser
