Looked at comments, not disappointed. This sweetheart is painting horses, everyone learning about airbrushes is painting for wargaming... with no small portion of a grim dark future where there is only war.
haha.
Great video. Honestly gave me confidence on what to buy to get started. Very concise and clear information.

I swear, you're like my model horse artist hero! I can't imagine I'll ever get this good, but I'd love to do this.

I'm not into horses (although yours look beautiful), but have interest in scale models (i.e. cars, military vehicles and planes, etc.). I'm shopping for my first airbrush and your video was very informative and gave me the right things to think about and look for. Thanks very much.

Young lady thank you so much for your videos. I wanted to find no BS videos on technique, how to with what and you nail it. You don't ramble on about how your mother's, Brothers, cousins, third Uncle, twice removed blah blah blah blah blah. No BS, talk about what you know and have learned and how to get it done. Your artwork is beautiful! I've learned a lot from watching your videos though I airbrush dye on leather items that I make. Keep up the good work and I hope you make crap tons on money on your videos.

Thorough, concise, technical enough. Great video. In fact this is the best intro airbrush video I've seen.

Looking forward to using my horsie airbrush to paint model space marines and ww2 tanks!

I am recently getting into painting models and was looking for info on airbrushing as it’s all completely new to me. It was nice to have a video where someone realised you might not have hundreds and hundreds to splash out on the super best kit as a hobby. A very helpful and clear video. Thank you.

I’ve used an Iwata airbrush when I taught my friend how to properly use it but I’ve been a Badger user for more than 20 years now. To me they have the same quality and Badger had come out with their top of the line airbrushes like the Badger Renegade RK-1 Krome. What I like about Badger is that I can personally bring my airbrush to their shop to be fixed in Franklin Park, Illinois and its about 45 minutes drive from my place. At times I can even wait while they fix the airbrush. Thank you for your very informative video and I will share this with my friends. Be safe

Honetly I have Nothing against Iwata but in my opinion Harder & Steenbeck is the wat to go. I have had a Harder & Steenbeck airbrush for 4 years now and it literally never failed on me once.

Hi there, I have just finished building a timber rocking horse, but now I need to paint it. Stipple brushes just aren't producing the exact effect I want, so I thought I would look at airbrushing. Your video is wonderful - clear, concise and so informative. I feel confident I can now purchase the correct tool for the job. Congrats on a great video.

I know this is an older video but I will add the big difference between that cheaper compressor vs the higher priced ones, is that the higher priced once are going to be much quieter. So if that is a concern it might be worth the higher price

Just wanted to say thanks. I keep coming back to this video for the info. I finally got a chance to use my iwata hp-cs, but with a compressor I got as a hand-me-down. Loved the airbrush, but compressor was disappointing. Came back to this video and bought a compressor with a tank. Thanks for all the great info!! 🙂

Great video and thanks for doing this. It's hard to find a clear buying guide with peoples' brand preferences and encouraging spending $300+ on one's first airbrush. The only piece of advice I would add is DON'T spend $25-$30 on an airbrush. The brush will work fine until you have to clean it, and then you'll spend more time disassembling and cleaning than you will airbrushing. I made that mistake and when I finally invested $100 CAD on a Badger Patriot I found ease of use and maintenance to be the biggest plus.

1. Your work is incredible.
2. Do they make Missouri Foxtrotter? Had no idea there were model horses.
3. Iwata are great. Harder and Steenbeck imo are the best.

Really enjoyed your video, although I confess I'm not really a beginner, I own several airbrushes, but I like watching videos for beginners since there is always something new to learn. You picked a great airbrush to showcase! As it could easily last 20+ years Some of the airbrushes made in the early 1900s are not only still around, but they work as well as when they were first made.
