Definitely you're the one when you need something to learn about airbrushing. You cover in detail and clearly explained all you need to know.
As always, I thank you greatly for your videos!

For those on a budget, but want a good beginner airbrush, the Neo for iwata, is a great entry level brush I use for models and art to this day alongside an harder and steenbeck evolution.

I’ve gotten myself an Iwata HP CS. It’s still in its box I must get around to unboxing and giving it a try. Mainly for scale modelling now I’ve retired I have the time to indulge hobbies.

GSI Creos Mr. Airbrush Procon Boy PS-270 or the 289 are awesome. They're also fairly affordable.

Best airbrush for anyone... is the Iwata Eclipse HP-CS or SBS . The Eclipse uses a dual taper .35 needle. This makes it more durable and aids in finer lines. Also, the .35 nozzle and head assembly are actually converting the the air pressure inside the gun. This is why iwata can atomize paint at much lower air pressure than all others. Also just as important for successful airbrush work, is your paint reduction and your aircompressor. It must have a holding tank or you will get paint pulsation in your finer paint lines. There are alot of well made airbrushes on the market, but they simply do not have the technology that iwata does. (other than the discontinued and original, Olympos)

I started with a siphon feed Badger 150 then decided to try gravity feed, which is much better for my use. So I ordered a Master Airbrush kit, did not like the mechanics of it, the needle didnt not move in and out correctly. Then I got a Iwata HP BS, which works awesomely but I found the .7 ml cup was a pita to deal with on larger projects. So I got a Ultra 2 n 1, I liked the larger cup but the friction fit cup was not great. So I FINALLY bit the bullet and bought a Iwata HP CS and never looked back. It does everything I need very well, easy to mix in the cup and lays down paint like a boss. I would say, buy once, cry once, get a good one right off the bat and you will end up saving alot of time, money and frustration.

Thanks! I think I'll go with the GSI CREOS. As an art teacher I cant believe I have never air brushed before. This is going to be fun! Now, what paint do I want? I heard cheep paint can clog you brush more often.

I'm basically new to airbrushing and the harder and steenbeck silverline 2 in 1 is great. 0.2 and 0.4 needles in the box with the option to get 0.15 and 0.6 needle's and nozzles. Can also be used with non acrylic paints like enamel without damage.

I’m gonna be throwing a party later this year and have a T shirt decorating table. I will only need the airbrush “kit” for one day. Do you have an affordable recommendation that will make it through one afternoon of heavy use?

Just a point. The air doesn’t actually propel or push the paint out. It sucks it out from the from of the nozzle via the Bernoulli principle.

I have a super cheap airbrush and it works better than my high end ones

For crying out loud. Bend the suction hose towards the front of the bottle so it will remain in the paint as you tilt the bottle and gun...If it's not long enough, replace it with longer plastic hose.

Hi there, im looking at buying my first airbrush ( no experience), how important is the MAC valve, do I really need one for my first airbrush?
I have a local model shop that supplies FINEART 180X and the 186AK I’m looking at as it comes in a set, some HARDER & STEENBECK but are very pricey and they haven’t got the new 2024 ULTRA which supposed to be good for beginners
Advice would be grateful

The tube/lid arrangement fits straight onto Tamiya 10ml bottles.
Not a lot of people know that. 😀

Hi there thank you for your video first one I've ever watched about airbrushing as an encaustic wax/ oil paint with a trowel artist it is the opposite of my type of art.... but I really want to airbrush my designer handbags when I am re-colouring them. So it would just be one colour going over the top of canvas or leather, so I think I would go for that single button use, gravity filler one? thank you to your info and I will now look at the cheap versus branded... If you see this post and feel like recommending an airbrush that would be appreciated

Can you recommend an airbrush kit? Just got into 3d printing and I wanna air brush my models. Nothing too expensive

Question: In the middle of practicing to get used to the action. The paint stopped flowing through the nozzle.
I did a thorough cleaning, and I still can not get paint to flow.
Suggestions?
