TIP FOR ANYONE STRUGGLING: once note is played, hum it for yourself while you guess based on first thought. Then you hum the whole scale starting at C, keeping the note in mind until you reach a note that matches. That way you learn if your initial instinct was right

Hey guys
I started ear training a year ago and was terrible at it and felt hopeless
But 1 year later I did this training and got a perfect score.
It is not impossible don't think you're "tone deaf" or not talented enough. It just takes practice and dedication. Hope this motivates someone to keep pushing.
God Bless🙏

I got 3 right in total.
All of them were "C".

This seems to be quite effective training. My ear is learning :)

I’ve noticed that it’s harder for me to recognize the notes in the higher octave because my voice can’t sing that high. The notes in my range are much easier because I know them better

The hardest part is when it changes from C of one octave to another it just confuses the sound so much with the A and The B

I got 4 wrong. It was an e every time! I think that’s quite good even though I didn’t learn from my mistakes lol

I keep getting d and e mixed up. Years of piano and viola, wasted

I was at a music school for 2-3 years, playing the guitar, but then, unfortunately, I had to leave it due to personal circumstances. it's been 4 years since I left and I distinguish the notes almost without mistakes, although there were problems with that before when I was studying

Playing the piano since six, getting these right is easy, but I wish I can do as well for chords with black keys

How do you guys are guessing notes? I personally got C always sounding in my head, and I can tell the interval for the rest of the notes. I find interesting to see each way to do it.

I got all regular right but... when they started to sound different, I died

It’s these intervals that go down, man… those are a bit more difficult for me to compare than the intervals that go up. Except for the tritone: that one’s always recognizable.

The last C went unconditionally right LMAO😂

it's really weird....I can always identify the C whether it's one octave higher or not when you jump from one note to the one next to it, it's easy for me, but further than that, it's quite difficult, i.e from D to A =))) very often I miss by 1 tone =)))
