This made me feel much better about my skill! Was able to sing out the notes before you played them. My absolute pitch is STILL screwy from playing a Bb clarinet as a kid that no one told me transposed, but my relative pitch is spot on!

YES! it feels so good to be able to actually participate in exercies like these now, i used to feel so discouraged, but i kept practicing and now im doing things i never could before!

Haha kinda gave away the last one. I mean, you just played a minor 6th up and then asked what’s a major 3rd down… which is of course the same thing 😂

Don’t listen too carefully, you’ll feel out of tune if you get it exactly right 😅

Minor 6th up is the same note as a major third down but an octave lower 😉 you're welcome

Yeah friend... I agree with you, but would be even more helpfull if you tell ppl that an esier way of learning that, still with the piano or any other musical instrument, it is by using songs as reference.
For example the minor 6th is the first two notes of the sax solo in the song baker street gerry rafferty.
that way is much easier to learn and it actually helps ppl... cuz nobody will learn intervals just by using only an instrument

Major third down was the hardest for me! I always think of Immortal technique - dance with the devil(don't remember the sample) for minor 6th
