Possession game with end zone goals | Soccer Coaching Drills

Показать описание
Activity Flow:
1. Coach plays the first ball in and determines the possession team
2. The team in possession of the ball always looks for depth and tries to get into its own end zone
3. To do this, a pass must be played through the cone-goal and the pass must be received in the end zone
4. To complete the action successfully, the ball must then be played back through the goal into the field
5. If the action is successful, a new ball is played by the coach to the same team. Losing the ball in the field, results in a switch in possession.
6. A successful action results in one point
7. Who has collected more points after a certain time?
Organization:
1. A total of 16 cones in three colors (8 in one color + 4 yellow + 4 red)
2. Mark two end zones (over the complete width, depth approx. 10m)
3. Two teams
4. Two neutral players
5. Field size according to player level (one complete half of the field in length, approx. 30m in width)
6. Enough balls next to the coach
Coaching Points:
1. Awareness / Orientation - Before selecting check over your shoulder to see where the space, opponents and your teammates are on the field
2. Speed of the Pass - Quickly to allow team mate to turn, slowly to allow team mate to protect the ball or play one touch)
3. Accuracy of the Pass - In front if no opponent near, behind if opponent close
4. Timing - When to release the ball to best help team mate
5. Type of Pass - Inside of foot to ensure accuracy or spin, laces for longer passes, outside of foot when under pressure or to shape away from opponent
Variations:
1. Easier - increase field
2. Easier - action is finished after the pass into the end zone, ball does not have to be played back
3. Harder - increase number of players - for example 7 vs. 7 + 2
4. Harder - reduce outnumbering situation - for example only one neutral player
