In other words votes from the individual population doesn't matter as long as it's over 50% of the votes the entire state will go entirely to one side. It doesn't matter if you vote or not. 3 or It's just pointless numbers.

the Electoral College must stand, as it ensures all states have a fair representation. Otherwise, California would have near-complete dictation in the outcome of elections. The same could be said for Texas. The Electoral College is in fact a representation of the popular vote. As the Electoral College reflects the popular vote for each individual state. The popular vote at the national level is irrelevant, as each state casts votes. the elimination of the EC would destroy much of the structure of our constitutional republic. It would also eliminate the emphasis on free speech and reasonable representation at the state level, as it is reflected in the national election for the President of the United States.

WRONG. There are NOT 2 parts to the vote . There is not a "popular vote" part. There is NO contest for the popular vote which is why no president has ever won the popular vote. Why? Because there has never been a contest for the popular vote.
Think about it. If the contest were to just win the popular vote, that would be an entirely different campaign strategy. Presidential candidates would only campaign in the most populated parts of the United States. There would be no need to campaign in the smaller states like Iowa or Maine. They would be ignored. THIS is why the electoral college was created to make sure ALL states have a say in the election. If states had no say in the elections, they would secede from the nation, which is why the electoral vote was created.
Look at it like this. If Germany plays England in a football match (soccer for the Americans reading this) who wins? The contest is for who scores the most goals. NOT who had possession of the ball the longest or any other stat. There is no contest for those other stats to determine a football match winner, likewise, there is no contest in U.S. elections for the "popular vote."
