Please helllp! 😭 I messed up!
I accidentally added 30gr/L of agar instead of 6gr/L. I used an expensive DKW media and other expensive additives and hormones and I don't wanna waste it!
Will this too high concentration of agar affects plant growth?

Why do you use alcohole burner flame? It leaves soot on the scalpel. Wouldn't a hot air gun do the same? It's hot e enough to melt solder and burn plastic I'm sure it would sterilize the scalpel.

You shouldn't have anything between your flow hood and what your working on, not only does is disrupt airflow so you no long get laminar flow but you also send anything that's on that object flying back Into your work, with proper sterile technique nothing should come between your work and the air flow. Or at least that's how I learned in the mushroom world! thanks for the video
