Im a stone mason, so familiar with the patterns left in the stone and noticed the drilled holes have perfectly parrel plunge marks made from the tool that cut them. Spaced very close togeather, which is toataly normal to see in modern core drilling, but to see them in a star formation suggests the geomtry of the hole was formed evenly and unifomly in one hit rathet than multiple attempst, you woild expect to see them over laping each other had they been cut/drilled individually.

Look a lot like Torx bit holes. If the straight bores were used for placing the stone pieces, a star shaped hole would help turn the piece for positioning or keep it from turning.

I've never seen these star holes before and I've seen a lot of ancient history vids..
MIND BLOWN. I love your work.. keep em coming!!

I’ve seen the star shaped holes in large rocks just like these in Oregon also!

Retired machinist here....the machining of this is VERY easy to do.
Thats not the mystery here!
They have been milled.
The marks are a dead giveaway!
exactly the same marks as I leave when I mill something!
After over 30 years as a machinist, I can spot them a mile away!
The real mystery here, is what the hell they were using for a milling bit!
It looks like a "ball mill" bit was used, but what material would they have had to be able to make a ball cutter bit with?!?!
Today, I would use a P.C.D. (poly crystalline diamond) cutter....

It’s a real mystery! Good work finding this. I am a mechanical engineer by trade, and I can enthusiastically verify that no technology today can cut holes like this other than very modern cutting machines like lasers, plasma cutters and MAYBE water jet cutting. The fact of the matter is, is that none of these technologies are portable enough to just set up outside in the wild to cut rocks like this. It’s clearly real evidence of high tech drilling...verified by and supported by me.

Your channel is amazing I’ve been watching it for a while now you put out some of the most mind blowing archeological finds I’ve ever seen anybody share and your ideas and concepts behind them are very well presented and thought through thank you very much for all the videos that you create and share it helps so many people see things in a new light thank you very much

I really enjoy the evidence you continue to share making us ask new questions as to where and how these structures came into existence. Keep up the great work.

In modern machinery non-cylindrical holes are used to prevent shafts from slipping while turning or to prevent something from turning that otherwise might while in use.

A possible explanation: I live near the megalithic site of Avebury, Wiltshire, England, which in many ways is more important than Stonehenge, just a few miles away. Some of the stones were once underground, and part of a fast-flowing watercourse. Fast-flowing water carries a lot of energy and uneven rock surfaces create eddies in the water. Stones can become trapped in these eddies, and begin to wear holes on the rocks over which the water flows. Although most holes are round, irregularly shapes stones oscillate and can form irregular holes. Eventually the friction will wear the stones down to become round and so then the hole becomes also round.

If the start of the hole is shaped in a star but the rest of the hole is round it indicates to me that the star was used as a sturdy mount for a more precise hole

This info may give some insight to these mysterios star holes. My dad and i manufactured drill bits of various sizes for over 30 years for the quarrying and stone industry in Elberton Ga. USA. We had purchased an assortment of drill bits for resale from another manufacturer that had a triangular cutting head. For whatever reason this triangular shape would star shape or rifle a hole from a few inches to a foot or so and then tru up to a round hole. Ive been studying ancient stone works via the web. I have seen alot of these types of anomalies first hand after growing up and working in the family business developing, manufacturing, and testing granite cutting and drill bits.

Research CNC milling and boring. These holes strongly resemble a hole made by boring the star-rays as individual holes carefully placed in a circle, then chipping out the central core.

Love that guys voice. Makes me want to listen.

It is from drilling in more modern days, .it happened when the drill head started oscillating, much like how you often get triangular or pentangular holes when using a handdrill on sheet metals.
This Volda-story was in local papers, and some old-school workers were found and explained it..
PS
The bedrock is dominantly gneiss around there, layered quarts/biotite. Quarts is very hard.

The hardest abrasive the ancients used was corundum, which is 2.5 times harder than hardened cutting steel and 4 times harder than quartz.

Don-absolutely compelling. Very difficult to create since you cannot use a rotary process.

This is one of my favorite channels! I always find new things to research! Thanks for all that you do to bring down quackademia so we can find our true history!
Cheers 😀

I have seen these holes in the rock blasted from a dam site in northwestern Ontario Canada about an hour north of the Canada/US border. I have pics of these holes. No one I talked to has any idea who or how they were made.
