Overall I was very happy with the installation of MicroPython and the speed of programming my first program, and now I need to have a good look at the Python language.

Have a go at adafruits Circuit Python. When the program updates it's still available as code.py to edit further. It might not be what you want if you want your code secret but I find sometimes I'd like to know what was on an older Arduino before reflashing it. This kind of does that. Also the idea that you can improve your code without having to keep the files and editor with you might be appealing.

hey i am totally new to this and i got a pico with the intention of running my bedroom lights and switches via bluetooth . i have everything i need to do that BUT, i also have alot more things like and LCD display, proximity sensor ETC. my question is again the same issue youve had. how do i run multiple programs simultaneously without having to take the pico out everytime i lose power and then come back to the PC. Will the new Pico W solve this since its got WiFi ? Again im totally new to all this and still learning.

Nobody, but nobody is covering a start up for C/C++ on windows ... As C runs approx 1000 times faster than python, the only interesting scenario and it's not being covered !!!
