Update: The deal never actually closed. The brand secured a different, venture capital investor in 2021. They seem to be chugging along, but admitted to being rejected by major food chains. The updates on their website and socials are sparse.

I think its a testament to just how brilliant this product is that this guy walked away with a deal after coming in with such a bonkers valuation.

Lifetime sales of $170, 000 over presumably multiple years (though he never actually says) which means he is likely equating a 60-100x valuation on annual revenue at $7.1 million which might be the most absurd asks in Shark Tank history. Even at the 3.5 million Laury paid, it is a monstrous multiple on the current business based solely on the speculation on the value of the idea. I actually thought even Kevin's offer was pretty reasonable given the current revenue numbers.
