I don't live alone and my bedroom is relatively small, so my cozy nook is also my work-from-home setup. My workaround to getting into the "me time" mindset was to get creative with ambiance. After work, I'll always get up from my desk, light up all my mood lighting lamps, stretch, shower, put on loungewear, get some snacks, and put on some ambient music. This little routine creates a new atmosphere even though I'm sitting in the same place all day lol

I don't have enough space to get a chair or a new place, so I created myself a little nook at the end of our sofa. It's my own space, with a small table for my teas/coffee, my books, ... and next to it is my hobbies basket (which I created after one of your videos <3) 😄

One thing I have in my little nook that is very tailored to my interests is a gooseneck kettle. It's not too big so it doesn't take up too much space on my table but it keeps me from having to get up to brew more tea 😂

I've not made it past the 45" requirement yet because my house is not big enough to fit another single bit of furniture in it (so I had to settle for the 25" armchair right next to the bookshelf, works for a couple of hours, but it really doesn't feel like a nook) and I hope I'll get some inspo on how to make it all really cosy xD Having a cosy nook by the window where I can read and watch the outside world is a dream which I will hopefully fulfill in the next house!

I use a papasan chair with two cushions (this is key for maximum comfort) plus an ottoman and I have it in a corner surrounded by a bunch of art and a bookcase and I LOVE it y’all

My nook is my whole bedroom, it's not a large bedroom it's small and cosy and I definitely can't get a chair in here so my chair isy bed it's gotta do double duty lol.

I have been slowly adding faux plants and pictures of flowers and mushrooms. I have added light on my ceiling and I keep adding as I find things I like and it's making my heart so happy. At some point when my physical health is better I will be painting and adding wallpaper.

We are changing our guestbedroom/spare bedroom to a playroom for our daughter (2y) and me; my hobbies wil be there to.
I think this would be the perfect upgrade, I can read books with my daughter and alone and use it while coloring and stuff👌🏻
Lets just hope and pray it will fit☺️
