-no excess mirrors/open doorways
-organization system with a place for everything
-no trash/dust/confusing clutter
-calming colours (like green)

Some other things that bring in a vintage romantic feel are older dressers to go with the real or fake candles, lace for curtains, runners etc, lanterns, scent warmers, decorative battery operated lights, hurricane lamps, lamps with a nightlight, bell shades, halogen lighting, ruffled or eyelet detailed pillow shams, bedskirts, scalloped vases, floral rugs, wreaths, velvety or knitted throws, quilts, a nightstand stocked with your comforts (a book, pain reliever, eyemask, heating pad etc), softened colors...

I’ve been rewatching GG for the millionth time

I am a very specific person when it comes to coziness and the conditions for the time when I was the most cozy are below😅

- summer night on Gran Canaria (very warm climate)

- It wasn’t even an enclosed room, but a terrace/balcony with extendable, fabric roof

- On the terrace there was a “circular bed-shaped couch” which was big enough to put the sheets and pillows on

- Clear night with bunch of stars visible

- That roof extended and the railings were made of glass, so that I could watch the environment, even when lying down

- The room and the terrace were on top of the hill, which allowed for private way to observe everything around

- City sounds (which were quite due to distance, working as an ambiance)

Overall, I really like open spaces and glass rooms, which allows me to look at everything around at night (but privacy is the requirement), which is kinda contradictory to the usual view of the cozy place 😅

6. A curtain

9. LED lights

12. Room spray (vanilla)

14. A small kitchen to make coffee ☕️

16. Small portraits
17. A tv to watch Netflix
18. An nice small closet
19. A nice double table thing to store your favorite shoes
20. And for wallpaper (use calm colors) not bright

I got to tell y’all something. Get GOOD SMELLING CANDLES! trust me if you get regular ones your room will smell like burnt wire. If you get a good smelling one it’ll smell nice and make it aesthetic. Hope this helps!
