P.E.I Camping Road Trip, Part 2 - Exploring The Island

From August 27th to September 12th, 2023, we went on a camping road trip from our home in Ontario to Prince Edward Island. We made two overnight stops along the way at Camping des Voltigeurs near Drummondville, Quebec and at Mactaquac Provincial Park near Fredericton, New Brunswick. We arrived in P.E.I. and camped at Cedar Dunes Provincial Park in West Point.

We spent three days at Cedar Dunes and explored the western part of the island province. That makes up Part 1 of our trip.

This video is Part 2. We go to Cabot Beach Provincial Park on the north shore for 3 days then to Brudenell Provincial Park on the east coast for 6 days. We explored central and eastern P.E.I..

In Part 3 we continue exploring the area around Brudenell then head home, over the Confederation Bridge to our first night staying at Republique Provincial Park near Edmonston, New Brunswick. We then travel through Quebec and into Ontario for our last overnight stop at Voyageur Provincial Park, between Ottawa and Montreal.

Wow!! Can I say how much I loved ALL the music selections? ☺️ I absolutely loved the themed music to match the maritimes.
Also good on you taking on mussels! (Never made them myself, but when I worked at Disney we sold PEI mussels in a coconut milk broth and there were amazing!)

PEI is the best place and i drove from Ottawa to PEI in 2021. One of the best road trips and awesome camping trips.

To bad they did plant some more trees in Cabot beach P.P. lovley beach though, Lot's to explorearound the area, love those small shops Brrudenell P.P. Four families together did this same trip this summer. We stayed at Twin Shores, near Cavendish for 7 nights. Same landscape, very open and windy! Loved the restaurants, Victoria by the Sea, Joey’s Deep Sea fishing in Rustico, Ship to Shore in Lower Darnley.

Greenwich was our fave beach ... nobody there and you could walk for miles there. 2 weeks after we were there a big great white washed up on that beach ....yikes

Great review as always but so scared for the guys making mussels! I wanted to jump through the screen and cook them myself lol!!!😂 You can use beer or wine with tomato, onion & garlic to steam...just dump them all into the pot cover and when they turn a little orange no flemmy taste. Thanks for the review!

One of the things I like about the island is being able to drive at night without worrying about deer.
