Edit: update! I tried it and it's a pretty good idea! I also figured out glow sticks are a good marker for lots of things while camping!!

The lint only works well if you grab the lint from your cotton towels and sheets. Synthetic clothes give off synthetic lint.

Aah! I just had glow sticks at our last camping trip (just for fun) but never thought to tie em around the zippers, an annoying common issue especially at night!
