Google Maps For iPhone: A First Look

it does support iPad as stated on "Requires" tho I double it's "fullscreen" because I don't see the "+" icon while trying to download it

It's great to finally have it back on iOS, now we have the best of both worlds.

Probably one of the best "shake" gesture lead-ins I've ever seen. I wonder how many people it will get, when they're frustrated and shaking their phone to actually have a useful "Feedback" option pop up on their screen, completely intuitive to their frustration.

I'm glad to see this app on my iPhone. All the searches and info it's better that Apple maps. My only problem with it is that Turn by Turn kind of suck. If you use it while playing music in the car the voice is too low compare to the music level. And the voice gets muted half way when you have music playing. Like it does complete the sentences before the music volumes goes back to normal. I hope they fix that soon.

It needs access to iOS address book and Siri integration, dunno if Apple will ever allow it

Try not taking it personally, it's only business. A more accurate understanding starts with understanding that each platform has its own development team; and it's up to that team to make the best interface they can with a given amount of dev time, money, and user feed back.

ok you're wright but there is Google Search for iOS (search for the yt-video) which is very similar - not predictive though

Google Maps is far smoother on my iPhone 5 than my Nexus 4. It just looks better, too. Google has been making exceptionally clean looking apps for iOS, I'm sure they will carry some of the aesthetics over to Android. Maps, Gmail, and G+ on iOS are pretty amazing. I would say Chrome for iOS bests the Android version, but I still prefer Safari anyways.
