I'm a new owner of a 2017 BMW I3 Rex, 33 Kwh. Love it and also the best car I've ever owned, amazing fun that costs very little to run !

I previously drove a 2015 Nissan Leaf and the i3 is a huge upgrade and the extra Ev range and peace of mind with the rex is a real bonus ! Love this car !!!

The new 2018 model i3S has a sport mode and much wider wheels, 195 wide on 20” rims. Practical range of 160-200 km between fast charges. Due to liquid cooled battery, it will charge fast every time at DC with 46 kW. LED headlights are standard in 2018.

There is a sports mode in the i3s, which seems to have been introduced around the time you published this video. Their model upgrade also included full LED lights.

Hi there, enjoyed the review, kind of got the dry humour about the little brother that eased me into a like minded attitude towards your options in general. However I did not agree with your views about the high beam, in fact i found it quite selfish, prompting a query over your opinion about your little brother thing. In my opinion, in case you have forgotten we should generally be regarding the environmental impact (electric/hybrid cars) which would include obviously the wildlife.
I would consider the kind of high beam your looking for detrimental to this. Thanks Dave

The i3 is a radical rethink of the motor car. The looks are challenging. It reminds me of the first Ford KA an Focus, the looks are unique and challenge the status quo. The i3 is a concept car that made it into production. Aluminium frame, carbon fibre reinforced plastic passenger cell, plastic body panels. Just think, no rust, dent resistant panels - they just bounce back. A complete rethink of a car interior, a drive chain that needs no maintenance, zero emissions. I've just ordered a 120Ah 2019 model - The test drive sold it to me. The Nissan Leaf feels like an eco-compromise, an utterly boring driving experience, the i3 is electrifying!

loll the i8 cost £75+ grand...used though so its going to look better, this is meant to look snazzy and mainly be a runaround, also most people drive only the 1 car so very much doubt most people with a i3 will be also driving a normal car while that have the i3

The reason why most don't have a table like interface like you say is because they either have to use the Android operating system which will cost them a lot of money and can have tons and tons of issues or they have too fully create their own Operating system and any Operating system where you want to be moving icons and everything else will always have issues at some point and firmware issues, upgrading firmware to find it totally messes up the car system like what happens with phone OS upgrades

Have an i3 '15 rex... best EV out. Looked at Tesla, but was not really into the wait or quality; the owner I spoke with and tested with was not that impressive. No sales shop near me... my lease is due up and I will do another i3s rex for sure. Just to much fun

just make the basic electric car, and a tablet for people that want all the computer add on stuff or a module you can unplug if you don't want all the computer junk l

This mainly seems to be a confessional of your own conservatism.

I have a BMW i3 94ah and I would never buy a BMW again. This car has proven what I'd suspected from the beginning: BMW can't build a quality car. From AC and electrical problems, to serious inconveniences with "luxury" options. It IS a comfortable car to drive and has decent pick up. But there's just way too much wrong with the car, even from a non-design standpoint. BMW service is worse than I'd ever imagined. It's actually sad that GM has better service and quality cars than BMW, and I'll never buy a GM again, as well.
