From my own perspective I believe it was a planned disaster. My apologies for that :
*That plane took off at 915am and was supposed to do a 2 hr flight.
*A VIP flight is always on continuous radar monitoring with a search and rescue request on the flight plan. And that plane was meant to have continuous communication with the various Air Traffic controllers in Malawi with the military on watch from their Air Traffic controllers because there were vips on board.
*That Aircraft had an ELBA system (Emergency Location Beacon) which is meant to send a crush signal with its location, it also had a transponder on board from my understanding, which also sends signals even when it's crashing you could see It on the radar descendin fast than normal.
*The news came out around 1500 of the missing plane when search and rescue is normally initiated 1hr30 mins max after the aeroplane has not established contact with Air Traffic Services. 😳 which could have been initiated immediately since VIPS were on board.
So from 1115am they were quiet about it!!!
*Can we say soldiers fail to search for their Vice President because its too cold at night !!! Then during war time they won't fight in their own territory at night !!!
*If that aircraft crashed around 12 pm that is after 3 hours in flight though the flight duration was 2 hours and search and rescue had been initiated in a 2 hour flight region or flight path they would have definitely found the aircraft during the day .
There is more to the story !!!
We are in Africa!!!!
Please if I offend anyone please forgive me but that's my own perspective.

The question is, did a plane actually depart from Lilongwe airport, or was it a political decoy? There is political friction within the corridors of power in Malawi I assume. President Chakwera seems to know something that we don't. There doesn't seem to be any sense of urgency in their actions to provide rescue. What if there wasn't any helicopter? Where is the footage showing its departure from the airbase? The distance from Lilongwe airport to Mzuzu airport is 340-350 km. The timing seems off, and from my perspective, everything just seems wrong.

This SADC seems to be disunited.
Imagine Mnangagwa asking Russia to be defended against his neighbours.
Now Chakwera asking for help from America to locate a crashed plane.
We have a circus here.

Iam ashamed of Chakwera and his government, why didn't he ask help from our neighboring Countries for help before asking America and Israeli? Something is wrong here, Chakwera knows everything.

Sophie you are right... My thoughts were why not ask from the SADC region? Why did they take long for the search, something is not adding up

My sister, American uses satellite technology which is more accurate than what you are trying to advance.
2. Sadc is dead. Zim president was 2 days ago backbiting Zambia & Malawi in Russia, you think a normal president will seek help from such a divided regional body? 😮

He's probably trying to delay at all cost so that they are not found alive
