Mystical Japanese swords that was in someone’s family for centuries. Gets traded for bbq ribs. Gotta love America.

Cant believe this customer gave away such heritage, family history and ancient sword craft for some meat to barbecue. 500 years of history for a can of beans.

When that first guy said “my ex-father-in-law picked these up in Japan”, I knew immediately he stole those swords from somebody.

Rick: I'll give you a half-melted Mars Bar and Chumlee's pocket lint, for it....and I'm REALLY going out on a limb, here.🤣

Wow, that last one was a real lowball. Great little conversation piece.

And the Janis Joplin stuff probably belonged more in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I had an acquaintance whose father had a priceless stamp collection that was worth millions. When his dad passed, he found out they were cancelled stamps his dad had collected as a kid. Priceless to his dad as a memory but little to no value.

I'm glad that at least one customer decided to "keep it in the family."

I’m glad the lady didn’t take the offer on the Statue of Liberty pamphlet. Her offer was a little high but $250 was a steal!

Love how the expert puts his oily hands all over the Janice's Joplin photos.

It's staggering how those swords stay in such amazing shape. They're hundreds of years old. Hundreds!

Can you imagine ANY modern manufactured product lasting that long? Not a chance.

This has to be the coolest job in the world just for some of the things people bring in to sell that nobody would see otherwise. The history that comes through the door is just amazing.

Guess my most valuable family Heirloom ( at least to me ) is an old faded black & white photo of my great parents from the 1940's and probably wouldn't get two cents for it but priceless to me.
