The scarab owner showed her true intentions when she said she just wanted to see it go to someone who would appreciate it, but then sold it to a pawn shop for $360 knowing it would likely go to another random patron, rather than saying “well if I can’t get $15K for it, I might as well see what a museum would take it for.”

Just saw some amazing Egyptian scarab rings at a local antique store! The intricate designs and symbolism are truly fascinating. It's incredible how a piece of jewelry can hold so much cultural significance.
