Ive found a DX7 factory patch called Overdrive off Cart 3 and that sounds pretty close.

You really are a DX7 wizard! Would you perhaps share some of your patches in the future (I know you have shared this one, but I mean others you have demonstrated in your videos)? Or could we buy some from you? I use my DX7 IID and my TX802 all the time, modifying patches and making new performance patches. They are incredibly versatile synths. Even if I'm even more into analog synths those metallic sounds, epianos and bells can't be really replicated with my analog gear IMHO. And it's so much fun fiddling around with patches and see what you can do even though it's sometime a pain to program.

I've been trying to get that sound for a long time, and recently i got a TX81Z. Since it's basically a keyboardless DX11, is there a way you could send the patches to load up on a tx81z, or make a tutorial on how you built that sound?

Also your content is great, I've been into FM synthesis for a while and i feel like this is the perfect channel for that

What program do you use to upload your performance sysex? I'm using TX81z Programmer for my dx11 and i can't upload the performance banks using it for some reason
