I love pedestal planters! I love how you can create a dramatic effect with plants and various heights. They can make a room look very elegant. I agree that there is no substitute for clean. I'm a retired cleaning woman with 27 years in the business; I met a very high standard and worked for a variety of multi-millionaires, sometimes for years. Most cared about their homes and worked to keep them in order, but on occasion I would get the rich slob, lol. No matter how expensive and beautifully furnished a home is, if the items within aren't treated with appreciation, that elegance goes right out the window.😂

Start with your entry way! Declutter and decorate there first. It is the room that virtually everyone sees and the room that I always pass through everyday so it always gives me a jolt of happiness that it’s tidy and pretty! Everyday!

We have a nice house with art, wainscoting, fancy floor molding, hardwood floors, stain glass windows . We have watched all of your videos and have used most of your tips. Today we had a friend ask if our house is worth $1 million . This is the second time this month we were asked this question. A contractor asked me last month if this house is worth $2 million.

Our house is worth $540k.

Oooh, I'd never thought of my indoor plants as decor (besides the planters they were in) but you raise really excellent points about making them feel cohesive in the space. It may be why right now I only like one of my plants 😅

I painted my living room and our built in shelves the same paint shade as the living room Sage green, the built in shelves were white. I'm so happy with the results
