If you can't afford new floor vents, just spray painting them a flat black to make them look new helps a lot for older ones. Also spray painting any vents in the wall - air returns - a clean white or maybe match the walls?

I've always enjoyed high-end mill work around doors, windows, crown molding, and cornices. I've installed a lot of miilwork in my home. Still not finished. The big project for 2024 is to put in custom-made cornices with copper stars on each one. This is all going to be done from scratch.

My wife liked what you did with the walls with that wood trim. We'll be doing that was well.

My inspiration comes from visiting the mansions in Newport RI.
