I don't know why those rubber stops weren't the first thing I noticed, I was screwing with the latch mechanism for like 15 minutes. Good video, very helpful

Thank you! The rubber stoppers creeped up. I tightened them down and the hood closed. I have a Chevy Cobalt.

I installed new headlights on a 2003 ford focus but now the hood won't close easily. Are there any adjustments I can make to have it latch easily? I really don't want to install the original glazed headlights back in.

Great video! I hope someone can help me.🙏Do you know what those 2 little culprits/parts are under the hood, (front part, one on each side) and what they look like on a Mercedes S430? After my oil change at a shop, when I got home and looked at my car from the front, the hood looked crooked or bent and not closed all the way on the driver side. I felt panicked🙀 and then sad☹️I can’t believe the guys at the shop left it that way! Can anyone help me figure out what it is and how to fix? Please?🙏
