Thank you for the great review of this lens! Looks like a very nice single-lens option for multi-day hikes. Wonder if it's as sharp as the Tamron 28-200? I own that lens and absolutely love it. Since I do landscape photography I value reach over speed and getting the extra 100mm on the long end would be super useful when picking out details from a mountain top. Tamron really makes the best super zooms these days.

Another mediocre super zoom from Tamron. At F7.1, we only go out during noon time on a sunny day. 😂😂😂
