I’ve noticed in every episode (Canada Ones) people are restraining June. They know, she’ll go batshit crazy and run into gilead.

This episode aside from the other highlights of the story, it shows that June loves Nick more than Luke now.. aaw such chemistry! Have u noticed the excitement in June's eyes and smiles when she''s about to see Nick for the first time after she escaped Gilead? And teary eyes when they were (with nicole) driving away from him?.. happy and sad at the same time...😭 my heart breaks toink! 😭 and this is the first time we hear Nick laughed, with his June and beautiful girl, Nicole.. but that dang wedding ring! Still June and Nick til end! Just wanna add, June was not that excited to see Luke when she arrived in Canada.... next episode please!

I have seen so many heart wrenching, disturbing and hard to watch scenes in this show. But for some reason, the ending of this that fear based rage, the feeling of injustice and desperation June is feeling. That fight or flight trauma response where she would rather die or even kill, just to not feel victimized NOTHING has triggered me more so far in this show. I am not ok right now

I'm so over June and Nick. At this point, I want Luke to cut his losses and find happiness elsewhere. Also, I think it's bullshit that Nick can "understand" what it's like to be in Gilead. That's like saying Fred can understand what it's like to be in Gilead. No. They had wildly different roles in that world. Nick will never understand being a mother who had her kid ripped away from her, lost her husband, and was continually raped and humiliated. Not even his separation from Nicole compares to what June and the others went through. If for no other reason, she's an afterthought to both Nick and June. You swear June would be in the same room as Hannah and opt to make out with someone instead of going straight to her. But that's exactly what Nick did. Nicole is a prop to these people. Atwood should do a novella about how Nicole resents Hannah for being the more coveted daughter. Kidding. Sort of.
I know a lot of people love Nick and June. I just don't get it. It's some mild version of Stockholm syndrome from where I'm sitting. He's "trapped" in his position? Nah. June was under 24 hour guard and she got out. *she almost got out twice* He could leave and prove he isn't a religious nut. He joined this crap, willingly. How is he someone to root for? At least Commander Lawerence owns his fucked-in-the-head-ness.

I know Luke and June love each other. But June has changed so much that I don’t know how she can make it work with Luke. Nick is the one who has her heart and I think always will. Nick and June are soulmates. They bonded in Gilead through shared experiences and both have suffered traumas. This makes for an incredibly strong bond. I don’t think it has anything to do with it being forbidden. Nick will always love June and their daughter. She is his one true love. June has changed Nick forever. It’s just sad that they can never have the chance to just be together. They are both married to other people. I think Nick has to play his part in Gilead to continue to help June if he can. That’s why I think he could not refuse a wife. They both are just doing what they must to survive.

I had to take breaks watching this episode, the Gilead and Waterford scenes were too Dark. I have watched this Show since Episode 1 and read the book a few times as it is a Modern/Contemporary Classic. This Series is speaking to the Daily and Nightly Experience pf Women regardless, our Safety is not guaranteed nor is our Autonomy. Men make deals with Men and narcissistic Women over our Fates without consulting us. June's Rage is hard to handle but absolutely justified. BRAVA x!

at first I thought as well that Luke is better man for June cause the guy really waited for 7 years and cried all the time...she was soo emotionalabout June...he clearly loves her but now after I have seen what kindof PTSD and obviously other disorders as well thanks to Serena, Fred and Gilead overall, Nick is the only one who understand how much she has suffered, and FINALLY I see some emotions from Nick, I think that Nick is the only one qwho can console her...and maybe who knows...maybe Nick helps June tobring Gilead down( I know that in The Testaments its different) but I am sure that Nick is hgoing tohelp her at least somehow

I have a theory that this season finale June will end up being held in Canada against her will, for trying to get back into Gilead on her own, showing that she's not truly free in both places.
