Now Serena not only has to fear that her child will be taken from her, but also of being a handmaid. I would rather she receive that as punishment then her current stay at the 5 star prison.

So NOW Serena is against Gilead because she could become a handmaid. Suddenly the idea of that is frightening even though it was always seen as a “blessing” and the handmaids should be “grateful.” Oh the hypocrisy. Anyone feeling bad for Serena (which I highly doubt there’s a single person who does) should rewatch THAT episode (you know the one I’m talking about, from season 2, but honestly every scene with Serena should be enough proof).

Janine saying "when things get better"...sounds like she is plotting something...that face she had in this episode when she was re-captured looked akin to June’s rage-filled "plotting face"...wondering if she let herself be captured and is working with MayDay...Can’t wait to see what happens!…😎

Esther! I'm so sorry to see where she's ended up, but I am looking forward to seeing the character again. That poor child has had such a fucked up life, through absolutely no fault of her own. I love the idea of Janine looking out for her, even after she was so mean to her. It says a LOT about Janine's character.

Serena will save herself and confess everything in court, being locked behind bars and having her baby stay in Canada is better than returning to Gilead and she knows it. Coward. The ending will be bittersweet I know it.

I'm kinda pissed no one talks about Eden. Waterford arranged for a child to marry a man twice her age and helped execute her in a high school swimming pool. That's pretty damning

I love seeing Serena sweat like this. She wants to avoid prison because she knows they'll take her child, but now she understands that being free isn't the best option either. Them being free means being released back into the custody of Gilead and everyone knows how fertile women are treated in Gilead. Either way she'd have her baby taken away from her.

I have never met a character that I despise more than Serena Joy. And while her name would suggest, ironically, I get more “joy” from Fred... hell.. even Aunt Lydia.
