Flipping the compost full of worms

This is the second flip of a compost pile. The soil is made of pure compost with a lot of sawdust as the main ingredient. After growing a wheel barrel full of squash in this compost, I experimented mixing comfrey and fish to try to refire the pile. It was hot around the fish, which the bacteria ate bones and all, but the whole comfrey leaves did nothing. However, the compost worm population really exploded feeding on the still green garden discards, kitchen waste, and fish carcasses.

Your pile of compost is looking really nice.  Lots of worm sounds excellent.

What kind of organic matter should you reduce before adding it to the compost pile? My grass leaves seam to break down quickly but I just throw those comfrey leaves down around the base of my fruit trees and rose bushes. I just wondered what worked best for you. Thanks!

Go to a farmer see if he`ll borrow you a few weiner piglets to go thru and mix mulch the area they are better than a tiller they give a garden so much nutrients even with the manure .
