Incidentally, I meant to say "quintic" at the 10:30 or so time. That said, Galois theory has application to polynomials of any order.

Brilliant teacher. Doesn't rush through theorems, and has nice discussions with students.

"identity is not a spectrum, there's a single one"

A bold declaration just at the beginning of this video which makes it to be different from all the rest of the math channels, I immediately subscribed it, praise the Lord!

This is really well put together. Most teachers won't touch on the intricacies of mathematics just to keep things simpler. Could I ask where can I get the pdfs used in this lecture and/or which book can I refer to?

Thank you for posting these online for people like myself to learn.

Great video .
Isn't Shridharacharya credited for giving formula for computation of roots of quadratic equation?
In India, we know this formula by his name only.

Which edition of Gallian is he using for his Abstract Algebra 2016 notes?

OT: Évariste Galois entire post on Wikipedia is like a novel, such a young and brilliant mind, and it even includes Alexander Dumas, as Galois is predicting his end in a duel. That whole period in France makes our political situation here in the U.S. look like child's play. BTW, what a great professor this guy is, such a calming nature to his lecture.

`Then must all shapes correspond to a linear, quadratic, cubic, quartic, n` equation ?
... so that we have no option but to look out for and find some space and ascribe it to a Set of which the equation, n becomes entirely satisfactory ?
