Показать описание
The Time-Spectral method (a.k.a. Fourier collocation method) is used to compute the unsetady aerodynamics associated with a pitching airfoil in a freestream. The results are compared with experimental results and a traditional time-accurate method.

Airfoil: NACA 64A010
Pitching Amplitude: 1.01 degrees
Oscillation frequency: 6113.36 degrees per second
Freestream Mach number: 0.796
Freestream Temperature: 273.15 K
Reynolds number: 1.256 x 10^6

Flow Solver: Stanford University multi-block (SUmb)
Experiment: Commissioned by AGARD (1982)

Dear joecoolcrew,

during my research for a project at University Stuttgart I found your video!

I have to examine almost the same thing for a NACA0015 airfoil. It would be perfect if you could tell me how you did this animation and which programs you used to for this visualization. I already have all necessary CFD Data for lift and drag.

The flow solver I used is "DLR Tau Code"!

Thank you very much in advance!

Best regards Gerrit
