I just got a shiny feebas on a chain of 3 :)

I went to the Feebas route and fished in my townhouse with classes the next day two years ago. Ended up getting a shiny Sharpedo while looking for a shiny Feebas and then got a shiny Feebas with a great nature and ability. Solid IVs too.

this is the first game I am going to attempt to complete the shiny Dex in. I'm going to count the beldum too. Haha. Glad to see chain fishing is still in, seeing as how it's the easiest way. Dem legends doe :(

I think if you're playing ORAS then you will have a much better chance of having a pokemon with sticky hold since you can get gulpin as you mentioned and you can also pick up grimer relatively early on.
