I grew up in a big family and my sister and I basically raised the younger kids. Laundry, cooking dinner, homework, yard work, babysitting every weekend while they would go out to dinner, shop, and visit friends. I love my parents but a part of me will always resent that I didn't get a normal childhood.

I remember the days when I was able to take over. I would send my mom to her room to relax and was a job within itself. However, I gave everyone a job and they went about doing it. Big families learn the ebb and flow of team work and the importance of giving our parents a break. I still go by the house and clean up and prepare dinner when I can. It’s called love, honor and respect. I know what I sacrificed for my three sons and I can only imagine what they sacrificed for a family of 12.

Of course the mom keeps bringing in kids. She’s not the one raisin em! The only reason the older girls wanna get married so quick is to FINALLY have a chance to breath! And the mom doesn’t allow them to take birth control pills even?! Like do you keep wanna shove kids down your children’s throat for the rest of your life?! I don’t think they’ll even let Jenna get married until the kids grow up so the mom doesn’t have to do anything! Unless they want the children to take care of the babies?

2 hours to do all that? I decorated for my baby shower in 1 hour but the venue had the tables, and food all set up and family brought the desserts lol. I need like 2 weeks to set up a party fully on my own 😂

They make me feel like I'm a unreligious human with no standards how perfect they act. But then I remember they did the good job hiding the fact their son/brother was molesting the girls. If they hid that what else is wrong in that home
