It's so weird to me that the girls are just married off yet their brothers are allowed to focus on their careers and stay single. Like why can't the women work instead of rushing to get married?

"Whenever a guy get's married it's like adding someone to the family" I'm pretty sure when anyone gets married they're adding someone to the family. They want him to get married so bad because that's what they've been taught life is all about, god forbid he feels like he doesn't need a woman right now and to be popping out 50 kids. I like him and his twin sister for that, they both haven't dated anyone and then married them after 5 months and popped out kids the next day. So I applaud them for taking their time, not saying that the other ones are bad people for how they chose to do things. But in life you want to make sure you live for yourself and not how others want you to live. Which is kind of how I feel like the girls are living, they want to be able to kiss their loved ones but to do that they have to be married so that's probably why they get married so soon after only dating for a couple months.

Anna is like the super annoying nice girl in school that everyone can't stand. I feel bad for her she tries to be all playful with her sisters in law but they just shut her down. If I was Anna I'd feel pretty unwelcomed.

No matter what, I wish you ladies the best.  Is it just me or does Jana resemble Candace Cameron in a way?  They are all beautiful girls.

I always wondered, what are the chances of someone being completely enamored with another person, falling in love with them in a short period of time before ever having any real intimate physical contact AND pretty much the only time you hangout is when its supervised by your parents, siblings or family friend and then you get engaged and married a few months after that... This seems to be the courting pattern with all the Duggar kids because Josh shortly courted, then got engaged & finally married to Anna. After that I've seen Jill and Derrick do that except they didn't meet until after months of talking on phone while he was in Thailand but engagement, wedding, baby came asap after that. Same thing w/the latest one, Jessa. Courting Ben a few months, engaged & BAM! Married and popping a kid out 9 months later. Im sure the same will be true for Jinger and that's great, im happy for her (even tho the first few months are always great w/you're first real love interest) but my question is what are the chances that someone, especially at a young age w/no relationship experience will meet the love of their life perfect compatible person for each other right on the 1st try of dating or courting and then within a year they make a lifetime commitment to the person to be with forever happily ever after. I could see if that happened once but this will be the 4th time! Most people don't want to get married & have kids at that age/stage of life yet but even if they did it seems implausible to find the right one for life with the 1st person they ever date. Of course I hope it works out with all their marriages but it seems they are so idealistic and naive to think the first person you ever date is likely to be a future spouse. It's crazy to me.

Josh was the only Duggar who courted his girlfriend for three years before he proposed to her. Everyone else got engaged after two or three months of courting.

I wonder if John and Jana have a pact to wait to get married. I noriced that the boys don't have the same pressure to get married that the girls do. Hardly anyone mentions that John who is the same age as Jana is not married. I have yet to see anything on line questioning his sexuality.

I love Jana ~ she's just so sweet and nice. If she does turn out to be gay, I'm gonna be all over it.
