Hey guys. Public education teacher here from the inner-city. I find your overall description of students that are more like the blue student to be disheartening. Your analysis of these students make it seem like they don't have the personal desire to be successful. I consider your stereotype to be offensive. I agree with your overall thesis that students should spend more time in schools, but lets not act like every student from "Middle-Class America" is so motivated to learn and that every student in an inner-city setting is completely hopeless.
