I missed Glenn Quinn so much. He was a good actor, especially on Angel. I never realized that he was Irish because of his American accent.

To date, this is Lecy Goranson's BEST performance in her entire Roseanne/The Conner's career. Perhaps some of it wasn't acting...she gave it her all in this episode. Her work deserved a standing ovation.

I love that they finally addressed that situation. Not Mark’s death but the situation with Becky dropping out of school and what followed. I had been saying it for years that Mark had deliberately held Becky back when he promised Roseanne that he wouldn’t.

No matter what, Dan never liked Mark. He always blames him for his daughter not living up to her fill potential. It's sad how Becky's life had turned out, but I would like to see her make a complete turn around for herself, she needs to do this first for herself, to love herself, for if she cant do this for herself than she cat do this for her daughter.

. They're just changing the past to stir up drama, because this is NOT how the originals went. Dan liked Mark, because he reminded him of himself, and DEFENDED Mark to Roseanne and to David, and he grew to like him, working together on the city trucks.

Lecy Goransen deserves an Emmy for her performance this season. This episode in particular she delivered so many layered emotions of the character.

If I recall, didn't Dan defend Mark a couple of even to Becky because Dan thought Becky was ashamed of her husband in a season six episode? Where did all of this nonsense drama come from? And no, that was not in the story episodes.

This series got dark. Completely depressing and unwatchable.

Loved this week’s episode. A lot of people are saying that Dan was harsh at what he said about Mark. Dan kept it real and any other father who loves his daughter would feel the same. This show keeps it real and deep and that what O love about the Connors. Becky gave up so much for Mark....

I remember when Becky was applying to college and her parents admitted they didn’t have the money for her to go. I thought that was when she ran off with Mark and got married?

As a kid I grew up watching Roseanne while I did my homework. The show was really funny but it also tackled the real life problems that we face. The show was brilliant. Especially between Rosanne, Dan and Jackie. I just loved the show. But they should of left the show alone. Stop rebooting all of these shows that don't need to be rebooted. Or stop rebooting them and getting rid of the cast that made the show great. Getting rid Roseanne was like getting rid of Ross in Friends. IT DON'T WORK. When you fired Roseanne the show that we all loved lost that magic. The show THE CONNERS should have nothing to do with the Roseanne show. You should of changed everything abt it. The characters names and the story. But you didn't. You took someones life work and stole it. Yall should be ashamed. And how this show stays on the air I have no clue when other shows are canned for less. I have a pretty good idea. You can't admit that the show would be a flop without Roseanne.
These are just my opinions and I think it stinks that you took a childhood classic and turned it into this.

It’s about damn time they tell us what happened to Mark. They’re going on four seasons and are just now getting to this subject.

People can say all they want about Roseanne, but at least, she was tackling serious subjects with more humor. Now, it seems like they want everyone to be a serious actor. I get it, Laurie Metcalf won two Tonys, and they want to show off everyone’s acting chops, but as talented as these people are, the show is losing it’s kick, that made it funny and groundbreaking, in the first place. Just one opinion, sorry!

This storyline revises and changes what happened in the original series. Dan and Roseanne never had money to send to Becky for college. The Conners' electricity was cut off shortly after Mark and Becky left. They never had money for college except for that fantasy season when they won the lottery. Dan and Mark became friends in the later seasons. Dan defended Mark to David at one point. He was very emotional about it. The show is struggling in the absence of Roseanne and they are going for shock value. It is just a bunch of maudlin tragedy.

Leave it to "The Connors" to take a shit on the character of a troubled actor that died almost two decades ago. Talk about "lowering the bar."
