No offense to Kia owners but I would never pay these prices for a Kia. What's more amazing is the amount of vehicles they have on the lot behind the dealership. There is a 5 acre lot full of cars, brand new, not selling. hundreds of Tellurides, sorentos, fortes, EV9, EV5, and Souls.

Honda salesman: these things are very reliable
Honda finance: these things break

The domestic manufacturer PREMIUM BRAND DELUSION is spreading to the import brands, this is bad news for them, Americans are not paying outrageous prices for cars anymore, we just can't afford it!

Telluride dealer by me is still $5k to $7k markup on Tellurides.

I was at a Mazda dealership yesterday. The lot was PACKED. cars were even lined up in the travel lanes. Great deals coming. Don't buy now. These dealerships will be dealing or they'll be out of business.

Still more reliable than any domestic vehicles and longer warranty and hands-down better than a VW as they are struggling a lot more than Kia-Hyundai

Don't know where you're at but every dealer around me is marking Tellurides $5k above MSRP and every dealer has only like a couple of them. They sell quick.

I bought it just in time and got a 2021 KIA Stinger GT1 AWD, and they were giving it away for 6k off MSRP for 40k. Stinger my opinion is built car KIA ever made so far.

New vehicle prices have gone insane. I won't do it. I agree, buy a $10K Honda or Toyota and fix it, maintain it.

I was in the Minneapolis suburbs a couple weekends ago to test drive a Palisade & Pathfinder. Both lots were MAX packed with inventory. Cars triple parked in two stall spaces. A few parked in the isles too.

Eventhough I specifically said I was not going to buy until summer & have received multiple follow-up calls / e-mails.

The Palisade/Pathfinder is in the same class as the Telluride. Not sure about Kia but both Palisade / Pathfinder have “ok” rates (under 5% for 72 mos) IF you have excellent credit score of course.

For any of these, maybe I’m crazy but I’m aiming to pay $48k OTD which I don’t think is unreasonable come summertime. We’ll see. I may wait too.

Thanks for the info!!!

Not a fan of Kia's, but the carnival seems to be somewhat of a value if you have a larger family. You can't beat the space you get for the money. We may consider an LX version (35k) if we have another kid. Large suv's can easily run over double that and still have more room in the minivan. If we don't, then I'll just keep my suv.

Carnivals selling like hotcakes! Have you tested driven a new one ? I dont think their any higher than any other manufacturer right now. That's how much new cars are going for. Those prestiges and x lines are really nice. I wish I could afford one .😂

Define reliable? You can't! There are recalls on every automaker!
Hyundai-Kia come with 10-year Warranty.
Jeep/Toyota only come with 5-year warranty.
Never buy from automaker that cannot beat Jeep's warranty!

LOL! The idea of paying anything more than bottom dollar for a KIA/Hyundai is funny to me.

Glad that I will buy a fully loaded Kia EV9 GT Line anyway.

Kia used to be a bargain price, that helped them sell. Not anymore! Why would anyone buy them at those prices???? So CRAZY!

What's going to happen to all those cars that are overpriced out into the ether, they will do lease specials to get them off the lot after a year or two of sitting.

Idk where you been looking 👀, but you can’t touch a new 2024 Honda civic or Toyota Corolla for 19k.
A 2024 Kia forte 19k brand new is great price!
I myself drive luxury cars- I don’t own a Kia, but I’ve looked at them as at cheap little car for my kids 1st car. I’m not buying a teenager who can’t drive an overpriced Lexus because it’s better quality- that’s just stupid😑.
Kia 100k warranty and 19$k price is great for people starting out!!! Not for 40 yr olds.
