the only change to this system that would be BIG enough to make any difference would be to make it FINANCIALLY worthwhile for people to start sharing the jobs that we democratically decide we do actually NEED/want people to do and work LESS. ...it's the only way you could get all or most of the people who are doing the jobs that are destroying the environment to stop doing it because it would give them the option of being able to share a job doing something we do NEED and want people to do and to enjoy working LESS at the same time. There could never be such a thing as a shortage of jobs ...there can only be a shortage of people sharing the work that's all thanks to this stupid idea that jobs must be around 40 hours a week. If we don't do that then we may as well say goodbye to the human race and hello to our extinction.
