I really like the simplicity of the 37. It really is just a multimeter in a box with the display rotated. I have a an old 87 with a damaged case and your video makes me think about creating a bench meter out of it. Though rotating the display would be a little challenging. Anyhow that was a very enjoyable video and you cleaned it up to an immaculate finish.

Great video, Tony - thanks for sharing! I am surprised that Fluke used tinned pads for the zebra strips - not up to their usually high standards. After getting a binocular inspection microscope I stopped using cotton buds for critical cleaning jobs like zebra strips - I could see how many fibers they leave behind! I now use "clean room" buds. Nice video again. I can confirm that this display scratch remover works well, I use the exact same stuff and it is really nice.
I couldn't really tell from this video but it looks as if the font of the display is the 'cursive' type, which would be the same as the ones found in 70 series handheld meters and the earlier 27 models.

Both the 8010 and the 8050 had battery options. I have both of those. Not sure what other did too.

A little bit of alcohol can fix quite a few things.🤣
