I have just bought a second hand bike, so I can cycle to the village. I sold my car over a year ago now, as I have acute anxiety about leaving my home, and have not been out and about since January 2020. I am 66 years young, and only go out of the house to walk my dog, which I love doing, as I live in a very rural spot, away from traffic. But the bike will get me back to a little civilization again, as we have an underground shop in our village, which has a café and lots of local food etc to buy. I will be able to meet other human beings again! It will also help in keeping me fit. I love a simple life, that is what I have always loved.
