Nkunku had been on a long bad injury..we are managing him good.. don't want to hurry him into the fray

Last year fans were celebrating a 2-1 win against Wimbledon with most of our starters on the field. This is a great improvement in my opinion winning against small teams in this fashion.

I thought Mudryk played rlly well he does everything right apart from finishing but if everyone else keeps scoring it doesn’t matter as much

That Felix assist reminds me of Enzo’s assist to him 2 seasons ago.

I’m so glad you mentioned Casadei, George. I thought, without the thrills and spills of the forwards, he was actually our best player. Professional, accomplished, mature performance, in a new role for him. One and two touch passing finding the target, only losing the ball twice when given a bad pass from a teammate. Very good and must be developed further for the benefit of the team. Very useful and intelligent player. Well done George 👏🏼

One thing I liked about this match was that we really struggled in the first 5 minutes, with many errors that allowed Barrow to push forward. But the team quickly regained composure, took back control, and capitalized perfectly on the first opportunity. This is a clear improvement compared to last season. Kudos to Maresca!

Mudryk had a good perfomance and happy to see Chilly and Carnz play

Great game, our second team players putting out out a performance as impressive as the first. Bring on Brighton!
Nkunku should start more often, Neto and Felix spot on as usual, nice to see Mudryk building confidence, brilliant defensive show as well.

Nice work. People saying it wss just Barrow..had we won by 1-0, they'd say the players are off. Man city didnt blow away watford

No Defender, No Goalkeeper, we knock our defense when we concede but we give them no props when they play a good game. We hammered Badiashille pre-season, but no props for looking sharper and playing some brilliant passes and winning duels.

I think we can use Mudryk a lot against these lower league/conference league teams because of his pace. He created a lot of chances that we didn’t convert.

Have you ever thought of doing a 6 things we learned end of season wrap up where you tally up all the boxes you gave to the players. Could be a cool way to see how you thought of the team for the season and see players consistencies/inconsistencies

Could have cried tears of joy when Chilwell came on. It looked a different game for him, as he wasn’t coming forward as much as often as he would in the past. He seemed to be doing well with one or two touches and passing it on, which iirc there was a pre season training video where Maresca was calling him out for holding on to the ball for too long. However I was sad that there were multiple occasions he was in space and calling for the ball and he was just ignored. I presume the plan in for him to be a cup team player and then be sold/loaned out in January but how is he supposed to stake a claim to stay if he can’t really show what he can do.

Mudryk can adapt but is, perhaps, a misfit within the squad. I think Mudryk is worth keeping for a while, whereas Madueke’s attitude is persistently problematic.

Casadei looked very good and I would like to see him succeed here.

Meresca also didn't complain about too many players he fixed to manage he fixed the issue. This manager didn't make any excuses or made any excuses for the players. I really like this manager, especially his attitude

This may be double brilliant, the way Chelsea squads are going. What I see are a possible two Chelsea teams. There's all kind of complaints that there are too many games in a season. That's fine. We have one team to play the Cup, etc games. Then we have a second team for Premier League games. Nkunku will play when Jackson gets injured. Let's take Reece James. When he was injured in the past our winning potential went way down. This year if Reece goes down we have Gusto, Neto, Dewsbury Hall that can slot right in. Take them off the B team which has been playing, is in shape and knows the strategy. Could the owners be smarter than we thought? Double brilliant. Thank you Mr. Benson

finally Mudryk is appreciated, even though it looked like half of the game he was isolated and got no ball... still performed extremely well, getting better marks then goal scorer Neto.
