They Found Slipknot's New Member...

Slipknot fans doing what they do best, once again figuring out the identity of a new member. Slipknot's new member is believed to be Zach Baird, a professional keyboardist who has previously performed with KoRn and Ghost.

Everyone complaining about Slipknot changing their lineup recently are so small-minded. You have to realize these same people that you loved and cherished for the past 2 decades are nearing their 50s and aren’t as hectic and brutal as they use to be. I love seeing that they’re slowly adding members that are young. Corey even mentioned he has about 5 years of physical touring left in him. Maybe his son Griffin will carry his legacy who knows. Just be grateful they’re still making music. Bands evolve, can’t change nothing about that. Hail Slipknot.🤘🏼

This is 1/9th of how we felt back in 2000. Imagine not knowing who a single member of the band was for two album cycles. Only blurred photos on an early days internet. Early 2000’s was a great time to enjoy slipknot

that is cool but calling craig keyboardist is a bit of an understatement^^
seeing zac with slipknot is hype though. he was great when he played with korn and I didn't even know he played for ghost as well. I probably saw him like 4 times without knowing it was him :D

Although I wish we knew more about Craig, and especially why he left, I have high hopes for the new guy. I definitely believe it's Zac, and considering the fact that he played with Korn for 10 frickin' years, I speculate that he'll contribute a lot to Slipknot's future work.

As much as I love Craig's work and how legendary his samples and sound design bits were, I feel like we could have seen a lot more work done by him. As much as I love Chris and his iconic Pinocchio mask, I think he and Craig contributed the least. Sid and even Clown seemed to contribute more and more parts that easily could have been done by Craig. Both synth, keyboard, and samples were contributed by Sid and Clown. So, I hope that since Zac HAD to play a lot for such a long time, Zac will play a lot more than Craig. Of course, this is nothing personal against Craig or Chris. I just like when you have a band, everyone's skills are used opportunistically.
