Civ 5 Persia Guide | The Best Civ NOBODY IS PLAYING!

Today's Civilization 5 video is about Persia, the immensely powerful civ that's near s-tier (likely a solid A-tier) that almost nobody is playing or talking about! Persia in Civ offers a strong deity contender thanks to it's powerful unique building, Satarap's Court which gives extra money and happiness. This combines well with their 50% extended golden ages! Their unique unit, the immortal spearman, heals twice as fast outside of friendly territory and has more combat strength. Combo it with some archers and roll over your foes while in a special golden age that also gives your units +1 movement and combat strength bonus!

Persia is absolutely ridiculously powerful, one of my favorite civs, can just chain golden ages together and stomp your neighbors.

This is an amazing video! Best guide on Persia I’ve seen. A really amazing strat with the immortals is to get medic on a few of them and combo the extra heals. It really makes them immortal when surrounding a city.

Oh man, I've definitely been sleeping on this civ. I usually sleep on early game UU civs tbh, I rarely do early game war unless I have to.

Im brand new to civ 5 and chose this civ to play with my friends. Is Persia mostly geared for early game or are they great for a late game conquest as well?

I've done great in civ rev or older civs, but the happiness impact of taking over multiple cities is too much burden on higher levels while fighting everyone for being bloodthirsty

Just started to play my first persia match in civ 5 and a quick check of this video, I don't know if this civ is for me, i am more wonder horing and making lots of cities kind of type, who likes to start wars after I've gathered some catapults/trebuchets..
