Have you ever wander how does your laptop behave when it have no Windows, Linux or MacOS?

I just received a HP laptop with Free DOS operating system and this is what is does when is powered.

Hi everybody. You need to do next steps:
1. Download Windows you want. You also need another PC with working OS
2. Create boot flash drive (with help of another PC). Search it, it is not difficult to find how to create it.
3. Сonnect boot flash drive to Your PC without Windows
4. Start your PC without OS (with freeDos)
5. After start press quickly F9 (That button was in my case) or another to open your BIOS or Boot menu
6. Select a launch priority for your flash drive.

7. Restart your PC and wait for install

Bogdan yes you have a great OS i just love free dos i wont buy some laptop for this system only coz i love write on WordStar. Moust important small, long batery live, good keyboard. Thats what i need find...

plug a bootable USB flash Drive with windows 10, restart the laptop, after restart press F1 and then F10 to enter Bios, select inside Boot menu the USB drive and then save and restart. That's It!...next time, learn some IT stuff or pay for windows laptop.

Hi, I now it"s not the newest video, but I got troubles, and I wonder if you can help me. So, I have my hp 250 g6, and i want to restore to the default, as it came. I mean, I want to install a freedos, and that HP Documents, but I can't find, where I can download it. So, my question is, can you help me with it, if you have an HP laptop, with the boot menu, and same as in this video, can you send me somehow the backup, or I don't know how I should call it, so I can restore from it please, I would appreciate it

Can't understand why HP still sells some modern laptops in 2021 with FreeDos installed instead of Windows 10 🙂

Sunt putin ingrijorat... Ce se intampla daca dupa operatiunea asta, dupa ce arata comanda aceea, inchidem laptopul din buton? Ieri mi-am cumparat un nou laptop (tot HP cu Free Dos) si l-am deschis din curiozitate, insa cand am ajuns acolo, l-am inchis pentru ca oricum nu stiu cum sa-l programez. Se poate intampla ceva? Si am putea instala Windows 10, chiar daca vine cu FreeDos?
