Why Does Mars Have Blue Sunsets?

In 1976, NASA's Viking 1 lander became the first to witness a Martian sunset. Sunrises and sunsets on Mars are different from Earth's. They are bluer. But why does Mars have blue sunsets? Well, the atmosphere on the red planet is very different from Earth's and the light from the Sun scatters based on what’s in the atmosphere.
