Exactly, I regretted to buy a new 2ds xl and got a new 3ds xl today. And man, 3ds is so much more premium feeling than the 2ds xl. 2DS xl is like a toy compared with new 3ds xl.

I love the sleek design of the 2DS XL. My only concern is that it will be so glossy that you will see fingerprints quickly.

Two things i want to add about 3ds xl, it is heavy and after some time feels like not balanced. Screen pulls the console back. But I dont know 2DS xl. Second issue is I cant say 3DS xl has a natural button placement, it is a bit uncomfortable(maybe just for me)

They both do exactly the same thing just one is 3D and the other isn’t new 3ds is 199.99:and new 2ds xl is 149.99 so 2ds is the cheaper option but in my honest opinion I would go with the new 2ds xl for many reasons it looks nicer it’s lighter it’s cheaper and I like how the game cards have that cover flap to it to protect the games 2ds xl all the way

I choose 2DS xl, because graphical wise and color wise is better. The 3D doesn’t work really, especially in Pokemon. I don’t see point in face tracking feature. So I choose 2DS xl and it’s the newest installment to the DS family, meaning it’s processing power is higher, giving you more freedom, and it works amazing, though that’s my opinion and I hear your opinion on the sound, but that’s why I have headphones lol.

Hi. with the 3DS XL 3D turned off and the 2DS XL would you say the battery life is comparable? Or is the latter still slightly better? Is the 3DS XL speakers (being on the front) sounds better than the 2DS XL? Which console do you think has a slightly brighter screen and warmer tone? And which one loads games a bit faster? Cheers.

OK. So here's a question..I have a switch, but as you know it's big and bulky..hardly portable..should I buy one of those ds series, or put the extra money in buying more switch games. Silly question I know but I just want your thoughts.

for those who don't know the 3ds xl doesn't have the c-stick (basically the stick near the "x" button) but the NEW 3ds xl has the c -stick but the only thing that it mostly does is make you be able to look around in games

To me 3DS really doesn't suck it's just it's really not that good it's too bulky it's on the 2DS XL is lighter and cheaper is just the 2DS is better because it has better games it uses 3DS games so you can still playing your favorite games and not look at the eye burning 3D screen
