I nearly cried when I saw the Blue Star! My Dad had one just after WW2. He and my Mam travelled all over Northumberland at the weekends (when they could get petrol!) I played on it as a little lad in the shed where he showed me all the workings and how to ride!I still have bikes at 74 years old because of him and that old Beeza. Thank you for reminding me of such wonderful times!!!

I knew a guy with a commando mk3 under warranty that snapped it's side stand when he was filling up and damaged a petrol pump. He said "wish I had bought a Laverda SF"

Just found your channel, very good and interesting stuff indeed. I have a question for you, do you know the colour of green on the Blue Star or its RAL number? I am hoping to use this colour to paint a bike im working on atm. I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.
